to diversify product, maximize consumer engagement, and increase margin, and profitability. Ultimately, we drive change-

Sustainability is important, and Bearpaw wanted to do their part-a cross-functional collaborative effort went underway from both domestic and overseas partners to prioritize and implement sustainable improvements at every level of the product lifecycle.
By incorporating Lean processes, consolidating, and enforcing compliance of SOP for smart design and material selection, to responsible sourcing, procurement, biodegradable packaging, and post-consumer recovery, the Bearpaw PD Team set the framework to lessen the companies supply chain footprint and cause less damage to the environment. POSITIVE SOCIAL IMPACT
The FRiENDSHiP FACTOR was founded on the simple premise that we all need friends, whatever labels we have been given, however awkward our needs. Especially those who are facing developmental challenges, misunderstood, underrepresented, and vulnerable to discrimination and harm. As parent advocates, we identified a void in social recreational activities for more immersive, culturally responsive, creative, and fun experiences that could spur authentic social interaction, and serve as a pathway to fostering friendships for children with and without disabilities.
We set out to provide such a resource-The FRiENDSHiP FACTOR-a Summer Social Inclusion camp founded in 2021 to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion for neurodiverse and neurotypical children and their families. Consulting with behavioral therapists to develop program curriculum encouraging social emotional development, physical activity, sensory play, and creative projects to foster self-confidence, teamwork, and belonging through shared experiences and peer support. Partnering with ioby.org through an on-line crowdfunding campaign, and generous donations from friends and family, we successfully funded 100% of Camp expenditures-exceeding our donation goals, and our organization is now a registered 501(c)3 non-profit.
